David you have a wonderful talent. WOW!! Your website stirs a deep emotion. I too am an artist. Though not nearly as accomplished as you I revel in my small victories. There was only that one word to describe the feeling this website gave me. Again...WOW!! It's interesting that fate had it you would be my last call of a very long day and I am very grateful that you felt compelled to share your work with me. If you dont mind I will pass this website on to a few friends who I know will appreciate it as much as I do.

Hi David, I just wanted to send a short email expressing my love for the photos you have posted. They are all very, very nice and very very sad. The faces on the photos reflect the current shade of America, not all blond and blue eyed are we. There were candlelight demonstrations in LA and OC the week following the tragedy, now lots of flags on cars and SUVs. Thanks,

I reviewed this site and I am impressed with the work that I have seen, I was sent the memorial to WTC tragedy and that work was impressive as well. I was a major in both visual communications and photography, unfortunately I didn't go to the site to record anything on film. I am interested in testing as a model, and fit the prerequisite. Please give me a call, I would love to do a test shoot, to see where it leads.
Thank you.

Hi David, Thanks for sending that, I think the strength of the images lies in their beauty, it eases you into the subject matter and allows you to experience/re-experience all the emotions of 2 months ago (almost 3, it's hard to believe) in a gentle way. take care

Marjorie, Thanks for sending me the link to david's wtc photos. wow... it's been tough the past 2 weeks, as i'm sure it has been for you 2. Several friends of mine survived...and are totally traumatized but grateful to be alive. it's so profoundly sad...every time i try to focus on other stuff it comes back to me...still too new, too raw. i hope you were not directly affected by this tragedy...we all have been touched by this one way or another. love,
Gail

Message:
David, thank you for sharing your work. It is one of the first times that I have put faces to the tragedy. I feel that I have lost so many friends, although I had yet to meet them.
I have an ameteur to professional question to ask. Did you shoot digital, neg scan, or photo scan these photos?
My best , Barton

Hi David,
Although its been quite some time since you sent this, it was only until now that I'm able to respond. First of all, thank you for sending this to me. You managed to take something so tragic and devastating and turn it into something artistically beautiful.
I just hope your family and friends did not fall prey to the events on September 11 and that your business is still in tact and thriving. I've often thought about you, wondering if you were okay, and was so relieved when I received your email. Although we have never met, you have been a big inspiration in getting my own web business started. I still have a long ways to go yet, but I'm not giving up. :)
Thanks again for including me on your distribution list.
Sincerest Regards,
Kimberly Cox <
